Linnea Tours team has a thirty-year experience in tour operating, having specialized in the preparation of cultural itineraries, together with a passion for gardens with their flowers and plants. Having a hearty knowledge of nature, we have the opportunity to provide our clients with information relating to environmental issues.

 The departure timetable is mainly based on climate and seasonal flowering, as well as on the presence of art and floricultural exhibitions and events of interest in the visited gardens.

 Italian landscaped gardens have always been created in close relation to the architecture of the villas they are annexed: it’s always important to get to know the historical and cultural aspects of the place, as well as to know who owns the garden itself.

 We believe that the landscape we cross in our tours has so much to tell us, therefore we let our clients have a “slow” knowledge of the place they are visiting and of its culture: changes in the landscape, flowers and plants in the gardens, local agriculture, local food and wines.

 The love for our environment drives us almost everywhere in Italy to see new places, to view charming hotels and good restaurants. In order to better accomplish client needs, Linnea has signed partnerships with other Italian travel agencies and correspondents whose values meet ours.

 One of Linnea goals is to organise sustainable tours: where possible we travel by train, we go cycling in the little towns, we go hiking in the mountains to discover the fascinating alpine flora. We usually choose four stars hotels for accommodation, selecting charming and typical ones rather than luxury ones. In fact our best choice hotels have internal gardens!
